Arts Illiana in Terre Haute asked area artists to submit artwork for its “What does kindness look like to you?” exhibit for February in observance of Random Act of Kindness Month.
I submitted this scrapbook version of a diptych photograph. The girl in the photo is my granddaughter.
I made this photo last August and first presented it as a lustre float wrap during the month of October in the Oakley Auditorium Gallery at Ivy Tech Community College-Wabash Valley in Terre Haute, Indiana. It is on display through February at the Halcyon Art Gallery in Terre Haute. For exhibit I titled it “A Tenacious Nature.”
