More than 50 entries by 19 Wabash Valley artists are featured in the River City Art Association 7th Annual Juried Exhibition on display through Aug. 19 in First Financial Bank at Sixth Street and Wabash Avenue.

First Financial and vice president of marketing Terry Tevlin hosted the opening reception and awards ceremony for RCAA’s annual competition on Aug. 7 during Downtown Terre Haute First Friday activities.

A lot of great work in every medium” made the judging difficult, said Christy Brinkman-Robertson, assistant art curator at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and Summer Youth Art Program director at Swope Art Gallery, in her judge’s comments.

The winners, she added, “displayed great craftsmanship” and “either had a great study of a subject or had artworks that told a story.”
