In April, blogger Mel Mann REALLY MADE MY DAY!
I have not been so fortunate as fellow bloggers Joanna and Deb Platt to recently sell one of their photos featured on WordPress. But I am currently blessed with 110 readers who are really and truly sold on following my contribution to the world of photography!
Since October of last year, I have been honored with one Blog on Fire Award, one Very Inspiring Blogger award, two One Lovely Blog awards … And I’m a three-time winner of the Versatile Blogger award.
The ultimate compliment came from reader Mel Mann of Mel Mann Photography when he compared my photo titled Redbud Forest to one by a renowned photographer! I felt like actress Sally Field after winning an Oscar at the Academy Awards!
On April 25, Mel Mann commented: “Very nice. Check out Eliot Porter’s redbud in bottom land image – easy to find online. Much like your shot it shows how something simple can be very beautiful.”
In a quick Google search, I found Porter’s photo titled Redbud Trees in Bottom Land on the Metropolitan Museum of Art website!
