New kids on the block

Today, I decided to introduce myself to the new kids on the block. Spring had finally arrived in Clay County, Indiana, and they were kicking up their heels (hooves)  in the barnyard across the road from the country church I grew up in, was baptized in, and still worship in today. I did a little dance myself through the barnyard … if you know what I mean.

23/52 My Silo

In a Google search I was able to determine that my silo is a tile block stave silo. For now, it is structurally sound and should be around longer than its companion piece. More than likely, it will be standing long after the barn/nature perserve and I am gone.

Documenting my silo’s existence from several perspectives has been challenging and very rewarding.

Photo of the Week series: Every Sunday in 2012 I will either share a photo from my archives or something new I just can’t wait to get feedback on for future art shows/exhibits.

Blogger participation: My hope is to receive enough input on each week’s photo to later post a Bloggers’ Choice of the Month and wrap up 2012 with a Bloggers’ Choice of the Year.
