‘Jazz and Blues’ on display at Greek’s Pizzeria – Terre Haute

Excited that my “Jazz and Blues” diptych will be displayed in Greek’s Pizzeria at 600 Wabash Ave. in Terre Haute for a few months. Thank you owner Justin Fox!

Jazz by Sheila K. Ter Meer

“Jazz” received a Third Place in an exhibition during Union Hospital’s 125th anniversary celebration in 2017.

“Blues,” created using the same photographic image, also is floated off white acrylic.

Both photography-based abstract art pieces were created using a photo I made of a flower on a cactus that only blooms once at year and at night!

‘Party Girl’ stepping out around town

“Party Girl,” formerly titled Midnight Revelry.

This midnight reveler is still gallivanting about Terre Haute.

Community Theatre of Terre Haute, Feb. 2019

“Party Girl,” my photography-based abstraction on glossy paper, is strutting her stuff in the Community Theatre of Terre Haute through Feb. 26.

She then dances her way over to  The Gallery in Clabber Girl Museum in Terre Haute to celebrate Mardi Gras during River City Art Association’s “March ARTmania” show  March 1-29.

Psychedelic Weed

Also in Community Theatre, “Psychedelic Weed” on metallic paper will follow “Party Girl” to the “ARTmania” celebration in the Clabber Girl hot spot.

Another presentation of “Party Girl”  on high gloss aluminum also is the life of the party in my one-woman show  on display now through mid-June in Arts Illiana’s community outreach gallery in the Country Club of Terre Haute.

Her entourage includes several of my photography-based digital art abstractions that you’ll find here on my website: “Angry Peacock,” “Disturbance in The Force,” “Jazz and Blues,” “The Spark,” “The Scare,” “Orbs Kaleid,” “Dilly Dilly,” “Apache,” “Something Blue,” “Middle Child Born on the Libra-Scorpio Cusp,” “Blossoming Madly,” “Toward the Light,” and my Crow Show piece titled “Approaching the Drop Zone.”
