Fall Ripple Affect – retitled Serenity Pool – in its rightful home

I borrowed this scene of Indiana autumn from my Clay County neighbors. In this case, the “grass IS greener ” on the other side. I have woods and farmland, they have that and more. They are truly blessed, and I for them allowing me to drink in their view. This one is “busy” but gives you a snapshot of the colorful season we are blessed with each year. The ripple effect disturbed the reflection,  but I like it, because it reminds me that in addition to the heavens and the earth, God also created the fishes in the sea.  It also is humbling because I realize that no matter how hard I try, I can’t recreate perfection.

In 2017, I retitled the 2014 landscape image “Serenity Pool” for the River City Art Association Juried Exhibition hosted/sponsored by Union Hospital to celebrate its 125th anniversary in Terre Haute.

This April, Fall Ripple Affect  went to my neighbors with the Serenity Pool in their backyard.
