Two honors at Midwest Photography Show in Paris, Illinois

Again, I am excited to announce that my nature photography has received honors in a juried show.

Sycamore “Snowcap,” received a Second Place in the Annual Midwest Photography Show in The Link Art Gallery at Bicentennial Art Center and Museum  in Paris, Illinois.

Judge and accomplished photographer Alan Russell also awarded an Honorable Mention to “Sycamore Freeze,” an image that also received an Honorable Mention in the TREES Inc. “Shades of Winter” Photography Contest in Terre Haute, Indiana, earlier this year.

‘Sycamore Frost’ and ‘Chihuly Glass Ceiling’ receive second honors

CBAA Associate Members Show-Sycamore Frost

Artist and art instructor Joan Kisner of Danville, Indiana, selected my “Sycamore Frost” for First Place honors  in the Photography category at the Covered Bridge Art Association Associate Members’ Show on display through July 28 in the CBAA Gallery at Rockville, Indiana.

Earlier this year, this piece was awarded First Place in the TREES Inc. “Shades of Winter” Photography Competition in the Vigo County Public Library at Terre Haute, Indiana.

Kisner also awarded an Honorable Mention to “Chihuly Glass Ceiling” in the CBAA show. In May, this piece received First Place in the Photography category at Wabash Valley Art Guild’s 39th Annual Spring Art Show in Clabber Girl Museum in Terre Haute.

All artwork in the Associate Members’ Show in the CBAA Gallery can be viewed until the closing reception on July 28.
