Now that the corn is harvested, we get to see the deer herd that moves each morning and evening near my house. There were six this evening. Four adults and a couple young ones.
So I tagged my first doe of the season.

Maroon 3
Found this little plant on the prairie on my recent walk near my Indiana home. Titled it Maroon 3 because the flower has 3 maroon petals, 3 green sepals, and an ovary with 3 stigmata. Prairie Trillium for a name is appropo.
